Dreadnought Drift random patrols?
Well everyone knows of the legendary Maw the Mountainheart and Feast of Coruption. Well after about 2 hrs I finally got to him and I was just wondering, are Dreadnought Drift enemy groups totally random where they go? It just seems there are times where there is just so much foes in one group, like 20. I remember at the very end there's like one huge group of like 15 mountain giant things. Anyone else notice this?
p.s. I finally caped Feast of Corruption and now I'm so proud of myself!
it's good they have such a hard boss to cap it from, gives a good sense of satisfaction

The Dreadnought mob behaviour is, from what I've witnessed, different from the typical AI. Those Giants run away from you as you zone in to the area then some come back to get you unexpectantly.
The group of 15 Giants you saw is actually 2 groups patrolling the same area so it's possible to aggravate one group with a bow and lure them without the other group noticing. It's deceptive and doesn't seem like that though.
15 Giants + Giant Stomp Chain = Torn out hair.

It has been increased over the time like Lornar's Pass just to make running The Droks run harder.

actually I know there's that Kinslyer boss who's even bigger than Maw, but what made Maw realy important was him the only one with FoC.

Dreadnought's Drift, Maw and Snakedance are all stupidly easy (and not particularly time consuming) to get to and beat if you don't suck horribly at Guild Wars.
My advice to you is stop sucking horribly.

I remember when I used to run from Rankor with my warrior, solo, to Maw and then beat him down. Was a great wee challenge.
